Mélisandre Lafond

ART DIRECTOR

Melisandre is a free spirit at heart, her artistic mind always overflowing with colourful and inventive ideas. She loves to surround herself with children so as not to lose her own childlike innocence.

After completing her studies in arts, she clung-on tight to her crayons and paintbrushes, and pursued her passion through painting on ceramics, illustrating children’s books, providing workshops in schools, creating murals, and much more.

It is by fate that she joined Child’s Play, where she found no boundaries to her passion for artistic design.

Her goals are:

  • To create products which facilitate the work of educators;
  • To create products which are both, environmentally friendly and made in Quebec;
  • To create products which are practical, easy to use, with a colourful and attractive design.
